The Maidens pack a punch with a long resume of time-hewn experience. Robin Macy has traveled and sung along the I-35 corridor for decades. Together with Cimarron Valley Songbird, Monica Taylor and young Jennifer Melcher, these women create distinctive three-part harmonies with two acclaimed recordings under their rodeo belt buckles. One was a Dixie Chick. Two have performed on Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion. All three share the same Native American heritage; therefore, they take their moniker from Cindy Walker's 1941 country hit.
